mobile48-365365教授(博士生导师)、岩石圈演化研究所所长、甘肃省西部矿产资源重点实验室主任,兼任中国科学院青藏高原研究所客座研究员、甘肃省石油学会副理事(2016.6-)、中国第四纪科学研究会构造与气候专业委员会委员(2017.1-2020.12)、国家科技奖励评审专家(2012-)。1982年毕业于兰州大学地质系地质专业,获学士学位。1988年在中国科学院地质研究所获硕士学位。2006年在兰州大学获博士学位。2004年10月至2005年1月到荷兰Utretch大学进行合作研究工作,2009年4-5月到德国Tübingen大学地质研究所进行合作研究。长期从事沉积学及相关方面的教学以及古沉积环境、古气候和古构造、盆地分析与油气资源、青藏高原构造隆升与环境变化方面的研究工作,曾主持或参加过国家“九五”攀登计划、“973”国家重大基础研究发展规划项目、国家教育部重大项目和国家自然科学基金等二十多项,发表学术论文七十多篇,合作出版专著一部和科教电视片一部(中、英文版)。曾获甘肃省高校科技进步一等奖(2004年)、甘肃青年地质科技奖(2004年)、甘肃省科技进步二等奖(2005年)和国家自然科学二等奖(2011年)。
